    Rooni Lee is a freelance translator specializing in art and culture. She has previously worked as a U.S. correspondent for Seoul Art Guide, for which she wrote on more than 100 exhibitions over the course of three years. She served as an educator at D Museum, Seoul, developing educational programs and exhibition tours. She wrote several exhibition reviews for magazines and catalogues and has held curatorial internships at the Grey Art Gallery in New York and Art Sonje Center in Seoul. She received her BA in Art History from New York University and MS in Culture Technology from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). During her time at KAIST, she studied the intersection of art, humanities, and technology with a focus on social network analysis. Her thesis “Structuralizing the Fluxus Way of Life: The Social Network of Fluxus,” which was published in Leonardo, analyzes interactions patterns of Fluxus artists through statistical methods. She is a founder of Yiruni Center for Educational research and currently has a career in education.
